I've made several recipes from this book since getting it in the mail last week. Delicious!! This is exactly what we Trim Healthy Mamas were asking for! It's set up very logically, the pictures are lovely, and the recipes are tried and true.There are several items listed within the ingredients that one can purchase from the THM store, however, you don't have to use their brand. The sisters give common alternatives to each "specialty" item they sell. Their store was set up for convenience and quality control. Take stevia, for instance. I was so excited about a certain brand they recommended a few years ago. That brand, however, started to include fillers and the taste was off (I noticed it right away). They searched for and recommended another brand. Same thing. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. All this to explain why they started to sell their own brand of items, for which I'm grateful! I really like that this cookbook is separate from the plan. Many ladies were dividing and rebinding the original book in sections anyway, so why not just make two books for the price of the original?If you are new to THM, I highly recommend you get the Plan AND the cookbook. That way you'll understand the whys and wherefores of some of the strange sounding recipes (some of them DO sound strange if you're new to this way of eating), and the methodology of putting your menus together.

There are two kinds of people in the healthy food eating world; the kind that think 'cauliflower pizza crust' tastes JUST LIKE OR BETTER than regular, fluffy, flour-y, pizza crust, and the people (like me) who think that is completely bonkers and are super sensitive to 'substitutions'.That being said...I bought this book along with the companion plan book after doing extensive research about the diet online. I normally am a highly skeptical person when I read diet reviews online because I feel like people have just deluded themselves into thinking that the food is good when it isn't :)However, I've been on Trim Healthy Mama for about 4 months now, and honestly, the only reason I have stuck to this way of eating (when I have failed miserably at many other diets ((I'M LOOKING AT YOU, PALEO)) ) is because I LOVE THE FOOD. And my husband loves the food. And my toddler who throws everything I give her on the ground, loves the food!Is every recipe in this book super awesome? No, I've made several that I immediately threw in the trash because I thought they were pretty gross. But there are plenty of recipes from loads of other cookbooks that I have made I didn't think were fit to eat, either.So let me tell you about our favorites...Chicken Parmy........ Ohemgee. Make it. Its so flipping good. We have this at least 3 times a month at our house and never have leftovers!Trim Zuppa Toscana.........Tastes pretty darn close to what you get at Olive Garden!! This is one of my person favorites from the book!Cheeseburger Pie.....my husband loves this...I mean, its meat and cheese and you can drown it in mustard and YUM.Banging Ranch Drums....drum sticks....and ranchiness...what more could you ask for??Tuscany Egg Bake...I was REALLY skeptical about this one but it turned out to be one of my hands down favorite comfort meals! I could eat the whole pan!Thin Mint Chocolate Chip Shake...I make this ALL. THE. TIME. Easily 3x a week. I'm obsessed with mint chocolate chip ice cream and this hits the spot marvelously!Trimtastic Chocolate Cake...its yummy, yummy, rich chocolate cake. And the frosting tastes like fluffy chocolate milk. I could easily eat the whole thing by myself.Glosted Raspberry Muffins....muffins tops with cream cheese icing. I literally made myself sick one day because I ate 7 of these in one hour (yes 7!)We have a ton others! I definitely think this cookbook is a must if you are starting THM...it can really help you in the beginning to make sure you are eating what you are supposed to!I have lost the 15 pounds of baby weight from my second daughter that I have been carrying around and I haven't set foot in the gym once! I love eating this way...I didn't think I would but I was SO WRONG! I highly recommend it 1000000%!! Give it a try! You wont regret it!!

I bought this book for my wife who is a Trim Healthy Mama and this is her review:This is the most beautiful and useful cookbook I have ever owned (and I'm a bit of a collector). First of all, the recipes are SO delicious! I've made over a dozen of them now and none have disappointed. RUN to the kitchen and go make the Chicken Parmy like TONIGHT. It's unbelievable. Secondly, the recipes are SO healthy! I can't believe I can eat such wholesome foods and lose weight at the same time. I've been eating Trim Healthy Mama style (which means I'm eating goooood) for well over two years now, and I've improved my health, increased my energy... while *not* having to deny my sweet tooth or go hungry. No deprivation here - just scrumptious, FUN meals for me and my family!

I have the original Trim Healthy Mama book that had the complete program and recipes in it, so I wasn't sure if I should get this. I was afraid it would be the same original book repackaged into two new books. Boy, was I wrong. This cookbook is beautiful and there are so many new recipes! My family of 4 that never give me a 100% thumbs up on the Crock Pot Cream Cajun Chicken. (BTW, my husband hates when I pull out our huge old crockpot, but he loved this!) I've heard amazing things about other recipes on their Facebook group as well and plan to try the No Cry Brownies, so I will be making those in a little bit. Thanks Serene and Pearl for pouring your heart and soul into these recipes and program! This cookbook is well worth the money whether you already live the THM way or are new to this delicious, healthy way of eating.

Their murders might have continued if it hadn’t been for an event which caused their world to come plummeting down.What was this crucial event? What are the details of this series of evil deeds committed by this pair? Curiosity had killed the cat, and it had been satisfaction that brought it back. So, if your curiosity has been aroused regarding this pair and their story, the only way is to get a copy of this book. My curiosity had gotten satisfied, which is why I’ve given this book 5 STARS.

This is a very short account of some of the crimes committed by killer couple Karla and Paul Bernardo. Two people who, separately, might not have gone as far as murder. But together, they fed off each other's depravity and in doing so, three innocent lives (that we know of) were lost.

Mr. Becker always writes with knowledge , precision and the ability to engage the reader to keep interested in whichever novel he has written.He has not disappointed with this true crime either , and gave horrific details about a deranged couple who both should have been given a death sentence.At first glance, they seem to be an average happy couple but as you learn more,there is nothing normal or average about them. I feel if these 2 had not been caught, the terror would have increased and intensified.My biggest disgust is with Karla, and how she could submit her sister to such a grotesque display of affection to Paul. She was just as guilty in my eyes and the evidence showed as much.I hope she lives the rest of her life always looking over her back , the fact that she is free and has children is sickening as well. The pain her children will go through because of the sick actions she participated in along with Paul will be unforgivable as well.Disturbing depiction of a couple that should have never met .

This is the true story of a Barbie and Ken looking couple who took sadistic pleasure in kidnapping, drugging, raping, filming and killing young, innocent teenaged girls. Their perverse sexual thoughts and actions got increasingly more bizarre.No one was safe from their clutches including the younger sister of the murderess.The author does a good job of letting the reader follow the history of their crime sprees and offenses.

If you are interested in learning about any killers, then Ryan Becker does a good job of showing you about them!I have read about Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka before, but Ryan fills in parts that I had not read before. I, even, enjoyed the CI he put into the story, it was like you were seeing what the people's thoughts might have been! The addition of the Robert Berdello story at the end was a good addition. I didn't know, really, anything much about him.Thank you for this book, Ryan!

This really isn’t a Ken and Barbie story. It’s truly horrifying and to believe that a person or person could do such horrors is beyon my comprehension.As usual, the writing was well done it. The story that really needs to be redone, it truly is too horrific. To me, Karla is as much to blame as Paul, now he does have life sentence but she is now out among us. A bit too scary for me, so glad I don’t live near her.

I Love True Crime Book's & With That Being Said I Really Liked This Book. Well Researched & Had A Ton Of Information. The Book May Be A Little Short For Some People, But I Enjoy Books That Are To The Point With Little To No Fillers Like This Book About The Ken & Barbie Killers. One Of The Sickest Couples I've Ever Read About!!!

As a little girl I played with Barbie and Ken dolls and they NEVER did the things these two did. Barbie would never give her sister to Ken must less kill her sister. These two are and will always be MONSTERS!! As for Karla you got off easy. I wish they had found those tapes before you could make a deal. Just think, someone is living next to a STONE COLD KILLER! As to you having children, I feel sadden for them, they will learn who their mother, if you can call yourself that, is.Other than that, a great read! Thanks Ryan Becker! A true fan of your books!

Content must include fundamentals, design, computer graphics, industrial applications, and meaningful problems. We hope you agree that we have met these goals. Content Every paragraph and illustration has been revisited for improvement or elimination so every item makes a worthwhile contribution to the learning process. No space has been squandered to make room for exotic illustrations that are far beyond the scope of a beginning freshman course. Instead, that valuable space has been used to better illustrate and present concepts in an understandable format to reduce the amount of classroom tutoring needed by the student. The main purpose of Engineering Design Graphics is to help students learn the principles of graphics, whether done on the drawing board or on the computer. A Format Worth the Effort Much effort has been devoted to the creation of illustrations separated into multiple steps to present the concepts as clearly and simply as possible. A second color is applied as a functional means of emphasizing sequential steps, key points, and explanations, not just as decoration. Explanatory information and text is closely associated with the steps of each example. Many illustrations have been drawn, modified, and refined to aid the reader in visualizing and understanding the example at hand. Actual industrial parts and products have been merged with explanatory examples of principles being covered. The author has personally developed and drawn the illustrations in this book. Years of classroom-experience and trial-and-error testing have been applied to create a format that enables the student and teacher to cover more content with fewer learning obstacles.
